eSummit is the flagship event of Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Kanpur. The event is held annually and aims to foster a spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity among the students of the community. It provides a tremendous platform bringing together the academic community, venture capitalists, budding entrepreneurs and anyone who is passionate about entrepreneurship to one common ground.
ESUMMIT’18 will be organized across 3 days from 24th August 2018 to 26th August 2018. With the theme for ESUMMIT’18 being “Transcending Ideas” the event encourages entrepreneurs to go beyond the ideation phase and turn that idea into a real product or service. The event this year will be holding a number of events like Upstart, Stock the Stock, Pitch Your Product, Decrypt, Pitch Prime, BizQuiz, etc.
Every year the summit hosts distinguished speakers from various domains all of whom promote the attending audience to develop a spirit of entrepreneurship. Some of the speakers gracing the event this year are Mr P.S. Jayakumar, CEO & MD, Bank of Baroda, Anand Chowdhary, CEO Oswald Labs, Dr. Mahesh Gupta, Chairman & MD, Kent RO Systems Ltd, Mr Bijay Sahoo, Group President, Reliance Industries Limited, etc, Kapil Raizada, Founder, RailYatri, etc.
The plethora of activities during the summit will not only be limited to the above but there will also be talks, pitching events, workshops, panel discussions and a whole lot of other activities.
