2 days of exciting technical & non-technical events on 18-19th January 2024
Embedded AI
This event invites you to express your innovation through captivating posters that encapsulate groundbreaking ideas and transform existing appliances into smart wonders! Utilize your creativity to infuse AI into everyday devices, turning them into intelligent marvels. Showcase your ideas through visually compelling posters.
Round 1: Submit posters that present your ideas in a captivating manner! Projects will be evaluated based on innovation and overall presentation quality.
Round 2: Shortlisted teams will have the opportunity to present their posters in the second round. Participants will get a chance to express their ideas innovatively. Be prepared to answer questions and showcase the practical application of your projects.
Binge Trivia
This is an entertainment and fun type of event. The quiz is designed to test the participant’s knowledge about the show attempted for, the characters, and the flow and thus an opportunity to prove that the participant is a true fan of the series.
Round 1: This round is a quiz round which will be held in the form of crossword. Participants have to solve the crossword puzzle with accuracy and in a short period.
Round 2: In this round one team member will have to act the character. The name of the character will be decided from the chit he/she will get from the chit box. The other team member will have to guess the character’s name. The selection of the teams will be based on how fast they have guessed it correctly.
Round 3: The last round of the event will be a buzzer round. The participants in teams have to guess the famous characters from their voice/dialogue. The participants have to ring the buzzer to answer.
MINDSYNC
MindSync is a game in which a team’s technical and analytical skills, as well as how well the team members understand each other’s approach to technical problems, will play a crucial role. A bonus round of Reflection Alignment will be held to test, foster competition, and enhance teamwork among team members.
Round 1: The event kicks off with a quiz containing a set of questions that will test participants’ technical knowledge and presence of mind. This round will be conducted online.
Round 2: Moving on to the second round, the team will face a fun picture-based quiz. However, participants should not forget that this is a tech event, so the questions will have a technical focus. This round will also be conducted online.
Bonus Round: A small bonus round provides competitors with an opportunity to gain an upper hand using the concept of mirror reflection.
Round 3: Narrowing down to our best teams, in round 3, the synergy of the members will be tested to see if their minds sync. The teams will be challenged with interesting riddles that will stimulate the brains of our finalists.
How I Met Your Murderer
Title: “How I Met Your Murderer” – Crime Investigation Challenge
Tagline: “An event where anyone can experience what it feels like to be a detective and investigate a crime scene.”
Event Description:
Step into the thrilling world of crime investigation with our event, “How I Met Your Murderer.” This unique challenge invites teams of 2 or 3 members to test their detective skills in two intense rounds filled with quizzes and hands-on investigation.
Round 1: Quiz Round
Prepare to be challenged as teams face a time-based quiz featuring questions related to crime investigation. The efficiency of their answers will be scrutinized, and only the top performers will advance to the next round.
Round 2: Questionnaire and Investigation
The stakes get higher as six qualifying teams dive into Round 2. Each team receives a questionnaire filled with enigmatic clues represented by tangible objects strategically placed throughout the venue. Teams must decipher these clues to solve the mystery.
The ultimate challenge lies in identifying the detective ETSA member among the crowd. In the final question, teams must locate the right detective and submit all the gathered clues. But beware – among the participants lurks a murderer ETSA member, adding an extra layer of suspense.
The Engineering Odessey
“Stranger Concepts” is an engaging event where teams delve into the Netflix of engineering literature, encountering unfamiliar and intriguing concepts. Within a challenge booth, teams answer questions that test their knowledge and understanding of these unconventional engineering ideas. The top-performing teams from this round advance to the next stage, known as the “House of Giants.”
In “House of Giants,” participants find themselves in a tech giant debate, representing leading companies in a gripping showdown. This round demands not only technical prowess but also strategic communication skills as teams passionately advocate for their assigned tech giants.
The journey reaches its climax in “Engineering Chronicles: The Pages Pursuit,” a captivating round that transforms the event into a treasure hunt through the pages of engineering books. Teams navigate through these literary landscapes, unlocking clues that lead them to the ultimate prize—an engineering degree. This phase emphasizes not only the participants’ knowledge but also their ability to decipher and connect information, fostering a holistic understanding of engineering concepts.
Publicity Event: AutoExpo 23-24:
