The grandest fest of Pune, MIT Aarohan 2024 marks 11 years of culture and tradition with its most monumental rendition yet. Boasting multiple competitions and events with esteemed guests of honor as well as judges, MIT WPU Aarohan stays true to its name and raises the bar year after year. The youthful and enthusiastic crowd sets a scintillating atmosphere that encapsulates the true essence of college life.
The fest is by the students, for the students as every aspect of the event from the financing, management, designing, and decoration is handled by the students themselves.
As only a healthy body houses a vigorous mind, fitness has been rightfully elevated from being a mere hobby to an integral aspect of day-to-day life. Supporting this drive for fitness and incorporating the noble act of charity into it, we present to you the Run For A Cause Marathon. For a small registration fee of ₹500, every runner is set to receive t-shirts, medals, certificates, and refreshments. Besides these, the winners will win assured cash prizes worth ₹16,000, with the female and male winners getting ₹5000 each and the runner-ups getting ₹3000 each.
All the proceeds will be donated toward the Education of underprivileged children, via our NGO partner Ajit Foundation.
Since the run is only 6 km long, this marathon is a good opportunity for beginners to start their fitness journey, for novices to step up, and for veterans to cool down. As a proper warm-up for the run, we have a Zumba session planned in the morning for all the participants.
