YASHASVI 8.0, the flagship conclave by The Management Committee of SCMHRD, was held on November 18, 19, and 20. Rooted in its Sanskrit meaning, “successful,” and themed “Manthan Momentum: Churning Ideas into Reality”, the event celebrated innovation, leadership, and transformation. Over three days, industry stalwarts, professionals, and students engaged in dynamic panel discussions and inspiring talks, addressing real-world challenges. The conclave highlighted SCMHRD’s dedication to fostering visionary leaders through resilience, creativity, and collaboration, leaving a lasting impact of inspiration and actionable insights.
Day 1
The inaugural panel discussion, titled “Design Thinking: A Structured Approach to Innovation”, featured industry leaders such as Amreesh Kher, Chief Business Officer-Insurance at Tata Digital; Subramanian Chidambaran, Chief Strategy Officer at Cummins India; Sangharsh Kesar, Operations Director at BNY; and Chandi Prasad Ojha, Chief Technology Officer – Insurance at LTI Mindtree. They shared insights on how design thinking fosters creativity and collaboration within organizations. Following this, Umang Maheshwari, Head of Consulting & Research Practice at Schbang, conducted a Masterclass on crafting authentic, adaptable brands. The day concluded with Pradipta Sarkar, Senior Vice President – Property & CPI at Aon, emphasizing the untapped potential of the insurance sector, driven by innovation and regulatory advancements.
Day 2
The panel discussion on “Democratizing Data: Making Analytics accessible Across the Organization” brought together Ankit Agarwal, Director – Digital at Microsoft, and Vineet Saini, Senior Vice President at NatWest Bank among others, to highlight how breaking down data silos enables smarter decision-making and organizational agility. The second panel explored inclusive HR practices, featuring Priya Sriram, Human Resource Director at Sonora Software, and Neha Vyas, Director – Employer Branding at Pattern and others, who provided actionable insights on fostering inclusivity in the workplace. Wrapping up the day, Nikesh Srivastava, Chief Analytics Officer at Bajaj Allianz, showcased how AI-driven analytics can significantly enhance customer experiences and decision-making processes.
Day 3
The final day spotlighted the alignment between sales and marketing as well as project management strategies. The panel discussion on “Sales and Marketing Alignment: Bridging the Gap for Maximum Growth”, featured Ishita Gupta, Senior Brand Manager at Nestlé, and Dr. Shashank Sharma, Founder of Expedify, who shared strategies for bridging functional gaps to drive business growth. The event concluded with Chirag Thakkar, Director at Hindustan Infrastructure, delivering a compelling talk on managing iconic projects, where he shared tools and frameworks for addressing challenges with strategic precision.

While Phase 1 concluded successfully in November, the excitement continues as Phase 2 is set to take place in January.
