Credenz, the annual technical festival of PICT IEEE STUDENT BRANCH (PISB), is the most celebrated event of the year happening in PICT. Every member of PISB eagerly waits for the month of August, as it is the month of Credenz.
The preparation for Credenz’15 began in early June with great enthusiasm amongst the members.
The first task for the members was to finalise the theme for this year’s Credenz. After many rounds of healthy discussions, the theme for Credenz 2015 was decided as ‘Evolution of Graphics’. The tagline for the national level festival is ‘Rendering Your Imagination’, which can also be related to the theme.

Second Year students, who are the new members of PISB actively volunteer in various events of Credenz under the guidance of Third Year students, who have the responsibility of organising Credenz. The members of PISB get exposure to a lot of useful things apart from the normal curriculum by contributing to various technical as well as non-technical events of Credenz. Alongwith the events, members are actively involved in the design which stands as the face of Credenz on campus. The members are working for P.I.N.G. 11.1, the latest Issue of PICT IEEE NEWSLETTER GROUP (P.I.N.G.), which will be released on the first day of Credenz, to commemorate the mega event.
The pre-Credenz activities help the members by giving them an experience of teamwork and a professional approach towards their tasks. That is the reason why Credenz is in the hearts of every PISB member.
