On November 29th 2024, the Research and Publication Committee of Symbiosis Institute of Digital and Telecom Management (SIDTM), Pune for the very first time in its history will host an event having delegate discussion based on MUN framework called Intellectica having a wide range of participants from different colleges.
Intellectica 2024 promises to be a transformative experience, offering a platform for delegates to explore innovative solutions through a moderated caucus to the global challenge of “Digital Inclusion and the Global Divide in Technology Access”.
The event went live on Unstop with three rounds of competition. First being an online quiz to check the aptitude of the registered candidates. The second round was a solution submission round to a problem statement showcasing participants research skills. The final round is an offline moderated caucus to be held in SIDTM.
A moderated caucus, a structured debate session, ensues, related to sub-issues under the theme. During the activity, delegates are expected to make sound contributions, engage with the other side, defend their stands or clarify their viewpoint. This is a highly energetic and free-flowing session focused on teamwork. Due to the inherent competitiveness amongst the teams, students brainstorm, negotiate and propose tangible resolutions for the overlapping gaps in digital literacy, encouraging collaboration in an unstructured setting.
Intellectica 2024 is not just a debate but a platform to nurture leadership, foster teamwork, cultivate ideas, and inspire creativity. Participants will not only deepen their understanding of technological gaps but also help shape their future meaningfully. We are delighted to commence the event where brilliant ideas will spring to life and shape the future of the digital realm!
