Unforgettable Moments of Engineers’ College Life – [Video]

4 years of Engineering, undoubtedly is a whole different world to have lived for a lifetime !! Well, so we have heard, and so have we believed. Probably that’s one of the reasons we have longed to live it right to the fullest of the chances that came by in spending the best of the time we could probably have.

Do not leave without watching the video in the end of this post!!

Right from the very first induction program, that the college held for us to the love of the juniors shown at the farewell, it obviously is a journey we would seldom be oblivious of. Its funny how every semester, the resolution of attending every lecture and making notes goes right to dust. All those cynical comments about the faculty,

“Yaar isko khud ghanta ata, humko kya sikhayega !!”

Or maybe about the management board,

“Saala feedback k papers ka raddi dalte kya ye log !!!??”
Or the principal, “Sala chaprasi lagta”
Or even on the campus, “Gate se ghusa toh khatam…. Kya infrastructure hai …!!!”

And then everything changes...

Its funny how all these skeptical thoughts would only turn into nostalgic moments, that are expressed through the tears shred with degrees at hand, and convocation speeches.

Of course, all those 8 semesters would so be worthless without the bond so fondly developed with friends we’d call family. Maybe we wouldn’t always be in touch even a year or two, heading out of the very campus we ever scorned, but it would be too unfair not to render these moments we live here as “priceless”.

Ethics, morals, conducts, dialects are blended in with the best of what we could possibly be, here at the prime time of our ages at college. The chill of the spine may be felt with compassion shown by friends when your bestie refuses to get his/her file or assignment checked just because you didn’t get it along today. The slay of sentiments is felt deep when your group decides to bunk the lectures after the break, just because you have some errands to run. Most ultimately, controlling laughter in front of a hammering professor, shooting unrealistic excuses and lies at the teachers during submissions, and bursting out with the most absurd of expressions, entertaining all of the class with your friends. Gee !! How would one wish to dive back in time !!!

Stepping stones to this relation and concurring to vouch for it for eternity has its roots in the times spent of quality at colleges and places been with friends made here. Mark me wrong and I’ll prove you are a man unfettered by alien endeavors.

Well, believe it or not, it always is the first picnic had, with the batch that brings us closer, from being strangers to being an integral element indeed for the further time at college. Maybe a visit to a coal mine, maybe the detour to a windmill farm, maybe the radio station story, or a city out of town altogether. That’s where the building rapport finds solace with those crimson times. (Yeah! Go ahead and Google the meaning of these heavy words….)

Batch of 2014's Trip to Hyderabad

Preparing for the Trip…

Waking up miraculously at 4am for an early train to catch, meeting up pretty much an hour or two before the time of departure, and cuddling into groups for seats to reserve, all of it marked the start of the best week one may ever fathom to have relished the moments of. With the winds kissing the elegant open hair of the class eye candies, and the drooling backbenchers gazing, the train travel ensured some considerate awesomeness, kids wouldn’t soon forget.

The Train Journey…

The play of cards, the echo of songs, girly ramp walks and times of no wrongs were what the airs then promised. With 12 or more hours on board, possibly witnessing a song dedicated to someone, or maybe a prank played on the faculty or even illegally having a quick smoke in the bathroom, the mind is too full for thoughts in a time of freedom like such.

Reaching the destination…

Reaching the hotel rooms, one could only estimate the kind of ecstasy the heart was to be gifted with! Let’s free flow through and live through one such detour had had by our very own friends, the Computer Branch students, currently in the final semester of their time at the college.

Exhausted…

With 2 hours of sleep every night for all week, the body mind and soul would well be tested for its metabolism ! ” Cruise after zoo, Museum after park, snow play after having done most of what we had to do !!!!! ” That has been the parable of this trip to Hyderabad. Come live their compassion and feel the love in family of friends.
