This year, we are proud to have received over 600 film submissions from 70+ countries, a testament to our ever-growing global impact. The festival will feature an eclectic mix of Fiction, Non-Fiction, Nano, and Animation films, ensuring an immersive cinematic experience for all.

Over three days, audiences will be treated to exclusive screenings of shortlisted films, carefully selected by our expert panel. Each film will be evaluated by our esteemed jury, who will recognize and reward outstanding storytelling and filmmaking prowess.

New This Year – The 48-Hour Filmmaking Challenge
For the first time ever, FirstCut’25 introduces an exclusive 48-hour filmmaking challenge for college students. Participants will race against time to create a short film, pushing their creativity and storytelling skills to the limit. With a cash prize pool of ₹15,000, the challenge promises adrenaline-pumping excitement and fierce competition.
