Colleges have always been associated with new beginnings. This year, MAEER’s MIT College Of Engineering, Pune is completely involved in organizing a National Level technical fest, where an entire generation of India’s brightest students shall assemble to meet and tackle the ablaze fields of engineering. Tesla ’15 comes with a flashy thought-provoking theme of “TechVolution”.

MITCOE Tesla 2015 September

We have all heard of Nikola Tesla, the famous inventor and engineer. In 2010, inspired by his innovations and contributions to the field of engineering, MIT College of Engineering named its technical fest Tesla. A national level fest, in its debut year, Tesla was a one day fest which comprised of highly successful events. It was in the formative years that Tesla took shape and grew with us. The bar was raised with various themes every year such as “Go Green”, “Transcending Innovations”, “Tech Odyssey” and  “Techno Shamanism”. Year after year, Tesla saw a leap in the number of events and workshops with the introduction of seminars.

Tesla started out as a rare event in MITCOE’s history, where the entire student community, irrespective of their branches, seniority, gender and experiences united together, and their enthusiasm was palpable at each and every step. A testimony to this is the fact that, within a short span of time, they organized a record 35 events. To take forward this spirit and to further reinforce their commitment towards sustainable development and the role of the youth, the theme of MITCOE Tesla ’15 is ‘TechVolution’. Their aim is to create a platform where everyone gets a chance to embrace the best of knowledge, a platform to paint your own expressions on the freewheeling canvas of events, a platform to envision the ‘India’ of your dreams, a platform where innovation has no alternative. Tesla ’15 is all set to touch greater heights with a host of competitions, exhibitions, seminars and education fairs.
