The Pune Startup Fest is an annual entrepreneurship event organized by BHAU’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cell in collaboration with COEP Technological University. This annual entrepreneurship fest has become a cornerstone for aspiring entrepreneurs, providing a platform to showcase their concepts to investors, mentors, students, and the public.
After 5 successful iterations, PSF’24 is back with its 6th edition with the theme ‘Venturing the Innoverse’ which will be held on 27th and 28th of January, 2024.
This year the Inauguration Ceremony is graced by inspiring personalities like Indraneel Chitale, Director of Chitale Bandhu, Vishal Chordia, Director of Suhana Group, and Ganesh Natarajan, Director of SBI Payment Services Pvt. Ltd.
Masterclasses are starting off, featuring industry experts offering guidance to registered candidates. Renowned names such as Ansh Mehra, Suhasini Kirloskar, Akash Majumder, and Akash Sureka are among the notable speakers. Expert Sessions by Arsh Goyal, Neha Nagar and Kapil Shelke are a key aspect of this year’s fest.
For this year’s edition several enchanting competitions and events are planned like Bullrun, Bidwars, Budge-it, Brandscan and new contests like Bizwatch and Optify. These competitions will help young entrepreneurs develop their business talents.
During the startup expo this year, a variety of startups will be on display. These startups are categorized into several zones, including technical, student, educational, social, innovation and intellectual property rights, health and lifestyle, agricultural, green zone, etc.
At the fest, Pitcher’s Valley stands out as a key highlight, offering startups an opportunity to showcase their ideas to investors. Out of the applicants, 50 startups will be selected. Following a thorough evaluation, 10 startups will be selected to pitch their idea in front of 6 investors. If found promising, the startup will get funding on the spot.
This year starting with new event ‘Phicommerce Lightning Pitch’ where 15 groundbreaking startups pitch their innovations in a thrilling 3-minute showdown for a once-in-a-lifetime funding opportunity before 10 prominent investors on an open stage setup. A selected few will get an opportunity to step into the exclusive realm of in-cabin meetings with investors.
In its sixth edition, this year’s event will have several exciting opportunities and sessions. Attendees will have the chance to explore many new ideas. To make the most of this great opportunity and turn their dreams into reality, young entrepreneurs and students should join the event.
