The annual Vision and Voices college fest was a vibrant celebration of student talent, culture, and expression. Held on the sprawling campus of Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, the event showcased a diverse array of performances and exhibition of art/digital creative works. It was hosted by the students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication to give an opportunity to all the hidden gems to show their talents off to the audiences. It focussed specifically on talents of singing, storytelling, rapping, playing instruments and display of paintings, photographs and digital artworks giving the event it the name ‘Vision and Voices’.

The event took place in the volleyball ground of the TMV campus which possessed a beautiful cultural look and gave off a whiff of the Indian Culture, as so was theme too which also included eco friendliness. The decorations highly focused on sustainability as they were either coloured paper, paints and ribbons or some old cartons and baskets that were beautified to look presentable. Their were display of numerous paintings, digital artworks and photographs by the participants on one side of the ground and refreshment stalls on the other side.
As the clock striked 11, the event was felicitated by the guest of honour, the Chancellor Dr. Deepak Tilak, alongwith vice chancellor Dr. Geetali Tilak, the Secretary and the President of the University who then proceed to light the lamp paying their respects to the great freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak and were then escorted by the students and the department co-ordinator for an event tour. Then, students, faculties from the different departments and courses like BA in music production, BA in mass communication, BA in photography, MA in Mass communication and MA in Advertising and Public relation and participants from various colleges were slowly seen coming in too. At about 12: 30 the Open Mic began which changed the vibe of the event changed to being absolutely lively. As the stage was set ablazed by mesmerizing singers, captivating storytellers and rappers as well as instrumentalists who gave their powerpacked performances which started to attract a huge crowd who were constantly cheering up the participants with their hoots and applauses. Guests were seen crowding before the food stalls in huge numbers which explains that the mouthwatering refreshments simply added to the success of the event. The anchors were mentioning the sponsors every now and then in very creatively impactful ways encouraging the audience to shop from fashion factory which was the title sponsor, to approach their digital media partner namely campus times Pune kg, and to satisfy their cravings from Maitri Park and Quick bites which were the associate sponsors alongwith Maruti Suzuki driving school and Bharat Gurus with other sponsors namely Trident.
Once the Open Mic got over the audience were completely excited as the college band were placing their setup on the stage and then once they were done the singer ascended the stage and the entire band gave off an electrifying performance making the crowd completety enchanted and involved with themselves who were hooting and applauding non-stop and this went for about an hour.
